Swiss Ecom Guides is an independent editorial project publishing English-language Shopify guides for merchants in Switzerland. The goal is simple: that you can open your store with the three hard parts already understood — what it really costs in CHF, how payments and Swiss VAT obligations flow, and how the parcel reaches your customer.

Most guides online are written for the EU or the US. Here Switzerland is the frame: TWINT and the payment habits Swiss customers actually have, the Federal Tax Administration named as the authority on anything tax-shaped, and Swiss Post and the couriers small stores really ship with.

For platform facts we cite Shopify's own documentation and pricing pages, with the date each figure was checked. We never invent pricing, never promise revenue, and never present VAT notes as professional advice — where a figure could not be verified, the guide says so plainly.
